Teacher Gifts

Today's projects were made especially for Kylie Bertucci's International Blog Highlight for August.  The theme for this month is TEACHER GIFTS.

The best bit about this Highlight is that you can vote for your favourite projects.  I would love it if you would vote for my project HERE.  The top ten winners will get to be part of an international blog hop so please VOTE for my project.

I am very happy to work in an amazing school as a teaching assistant and I am very lucky to have received many fantastic gifts from families.  The class I help in is for children aged eight and nine.  As a class we celebrate birthdays by giving a card and singing "Happy Birthday".  Sometimes there are even sweets or cakes!

For my Teacher Gifts I decided to create two items that could be displayed on a desk, that are both pretty and practical.  The first is a box for cards and there is also a smaller version to hold Post-It notes.

I've included a Thank You card and a couple of Birthday cards all using the Pick a Pattern papers teamed up with sentiments from the Pieces and Patterns stamps.  The images are such fun!

The Number of Years stamps and matching dies are so useful for all sorts of birthdays and anniversaries - I would be lost without those numbers!

There are a couple of weeks left before the start of the new school term so I am pleased to prepared with pretty items for the teacher's desk!

Thank you for visiting my blog today.  I'd be delighted if you visited Kylie's blog to vote for my project.  I would love to be chosen to do an international blog hop.

Happy Crafting
